I woke up about 10 o'clock. Im in Edmonton Canada. Rolled out of the bunk, walked to the front door of the bus, opened the door, took a deep breath in........ And froze my nipples off. Its freakin cold, lol. Actually its awsome cause i love the fresh Canadian air. MMMMMM MMMM GOOD. Anyways, I'm here chillin with my brother in Catering now. Were both wired off of COFFEE .... AHHHHH!!!!! Its an awesome thing to have him out here with me. I love him so much. :). So, in a nut-shell , Very excited about the great things that are happening in my life. Bout the new album with the Boyz, about my health, bout the new relationships I'm developing. Finally, I feel like I'm turning into the old nick again. Actually! The new improved positive Nick. Backstreet's back on tour with a new album and one less band member but the boys don't seem to know the meaning of being lonely, and according to Nick Carter, are on track to once again becoming larger than life.

The foursome will hit Sault Ste. Marie with their smooth harmonies and upbeat stage show Wednesday to promote their latest album, Unbreakable. Tagging along are little sister band, Girlicious.

It is the Backstreet Boys first offering – and tour – without Kevin Richardson, who left the group on amicable terms in June 2006 to pursue other interests.

"We closed that gap and tightened our moves up and created a show that is the building blocks to the next phase of Backstreet Boys," said Carter, from a concert stop in Bloomington, Ill. Friday.

Unbreakable and their previous album, Never Gone (2005), recorded after a three-year hiatus, got less than stellar reviews in the United States. The new sound has been labeled "adult contemporary" – the ultimate snub for international pop stars used to filling venues like Toronto's Rogers Centre to the brim with hormone-ridden preteen girls.

Carter, the youngest member and once dubbed CosmoGirl's Sexiest Man in the World, said the screaming girls are still around, but so are their mothers.

"Our fans are like 12 to frickin' 80. I'm looking into the audience and I'm like, 'Is that a grandma and is that her little granddaughter?'" he said. "It's just phenomenal to see they're still as excited as they were before."

No matter how big their BSB collages, or ardent their devotion to the 15-year-old group, Carter said fans have never gone too far.

"I've seen so much in my life that I like them to try and outdo themselves now," he laughed.

The craziest thing a fan has done?

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter has opened up to Usmagazine.com about his mother's arrest on Thursday.

"I love my mother and offer her my full support in these unfortunate circumstances," Carter tells Us.

Jane Carter was booked after she failed to appear in a Florida court for a hearing about her divorce from John Holcomb, according to TMZ.com.

Among the accusations, Jane is accused of trashing their former residence.

An order was issued for her arrest after she skipped the hearing. She was arrested at a ceremony in Sumter County, FL, where she was working for a
construction company.

Nick and his brother Aaron cut Jane – their former manager out of their lives in 2005, claiming she was more concerned with money then being a mom.

"I think, mainly what we're saying now, is that we were starved for that attention, of a motherly figure," Carter told 20/20.

But a source close to Nick - who is now based in Nashville, Tennessee, tells Us the singer is now on speaking terms with Jane.

"He's been mending his relationship with his mom for quite some time and that he is in such a healthy, productive place in his life, looking better than ever," the insider tells Us. "He's focused on the current Backstreet Boys tour and in studio writing with hit-makers including Desmond Child and Jeffrey Steele for both Backstreet Boys and his solo project. [Source]

Backstreet Boy Nick Carter is busy.

Carter, who has been touring with the Backsteet Boys on their "Unbreakable Tour" since February, is also currently recording a new solo album, according to Nashville's MusicCityTV.

Carter's Nashville-based attorney, Jordan Keller, says the popstar is recording the album right in Nashville.

Keller adds that Carter has been working with Desmond Child, who produced for "Livin' La Vida Loca" pop singer Ricky Martin.

The album will be a follow-up to Carter's first solo album "Now Or Never," which was released back in 2002. The album was certified gold.

Aaron Carter is set to appear on Celebrity Rehab in a bid to help his marijuana habit.

The former child star was arrested earlier this year for driving under the influence, and now hopes a stint on the reality TV show will allow him to clean up his act and launch a career again.

A source tells The National Enquirer: "Aaron has a terrible marijuana problem, and he's no longer being offered much work. At least by appearing on VH1, he will be back in the spotlight and get used to being in front of the camera again. And hopefully he can get sober at the same time.

"He made good money as a teenager, and when he turned 18, he got access to $2.7 million (£1.35 million) - before he knew it, it quickly was being whittled away."

The 20-year old will join a cast including former Hollywood Madame Heidi Fleiss and rocker Sebastian Bach on the upcoming series.

Carter and his older Backstreet Boy brother, Nick, appeared in 2006 reality show House of Carters in a similar bid to revive their flailing careers. [Source]

Recently there have been some confusing reports on the upcoming season of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" and Nick being a part of the show; we would like to clear things up with the below statement from Nick.

I am currently finishing up a sold out, world wide tour with the Backstreet Boys and last night played to 17,000 London Fans!
