Aaron Carter will be getting married after dating his current girlfriend for a just a short few months. Carter is the younger brother of Nick Carter, one of the members of the boy band Backstreet Boys. The younger Carter had a solo career for a couple of years before fading out of the spotlight.

Now 22 years-old, Carter has just proposed to his 19 year-old girlfriend Maile Hochulit. The former pop star took her to see the hit film Alice in Wonderland, and towards the end of the movie he got down on one knee and popped the question with a pear shaped diamond ring.

Hochulit, who was overjoyed, instantly said yes. She currently lives in Orlando where she is a student, but is making plans to move to Miami to be closer to her new fiancee. She reportedly supports herself as a dancer, it is not clear as to what style of dance.

The two have been friends for several years, but only recently started seeing each other romantically. This is the second time Carter has been engaged. Back in 2006 he was engaged to Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche for an entire week. He has also been linked to Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff in the past. [Source]

Pop Star Aaron Carter Engaged at Alice in Wonderland Screening.  Backstreet Boys little bro Aaron Carter is a pop star in his own right.  Many people are happy for him right now, as he has become engaged to his student/dancer girlfriend, Maile Hochuli.  Hochuli is a resident of Orlando and is going to move to Miami soon to live with her fiance.

Aaron Carter is the kid brother of Nick Carter, who reached his fame during the Back Street Boys days.  Even though the group doesn’t have as big a presence as it did years ago, many still listen to their old albums.

Carter popped the question about halfway through the movie “Alice in Wonderland” which is directed by Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp. Prior to his current girlfriend, he has alleged romantic ties to Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff.
